Within the mutual holding company structure, Ameritas Mutual Holding Company is the parent company and owns Ameritas Holding Company. Ameritas Holding Company, in turn, owns 100 percent of the stock of Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. (Ameritas Life) and Summit Investment Advisors, Inc. Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. of New York, Acacia Life Insurance Company, The Union Central Life Insurance Company and Ameritas Investment Corp. are wholly owned subsidiaries of Ameritas Life. The financial strength of Ameritas Mutual Holding Company is reflected in the financial reports found in this section.
