It works with an employer’s traditional group life program by carving out key employees from the group and offering them a unique value-added package. Affordable, Guaranteed Premiums
Instead of using costly permanent products typical of most carve-out plans, the employer can provide more affordable 10-year level term insurance. Premiums are based on age, gender and tobacco use and are guaranteed for 10 years in all states.

The minimum number of insureds for Focus 10 is 20 lives. The minimum face amount is $50,000 and the maximum is $1.5 million. Other features include:
