How can I check the status of my application?

We know it's important to you to know what happened with your application. When you apply for a position, you will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your application.  As well, if you aren't selected for the position, you will also receive notification.  If you would like further details, feel free to contact one of our recruiters by clicking on Contact Us in the Careers section.

Can I update my application once I've submitted it?

Simply log back into our application system, using the e-mail you originally set up the account with.  If you forget your password, it can easily be reset.  Once you've logged in, you have the ability to change or update any of the data.  We encourage you to keep your information as updated as possible as this gives us the best representation of your skills and experience.  If you have difficulties getting back into the system, feel free to contact one of our Recruiters for assistance.

When would my benefits start as an Ameritas associate?

Once hired, Ameritas associates who meet the requirements for benefits are eligible for coverage on the first of the month following their full-time date of hire.  During our orientation process, newly hired associates have the opportunity to meet with a member of our Benefits team to discuss all of the benefits and the eligibility requirements.

Do I need to fill out a new application for each job I am interested in?

We've tried to make your application experience as easy as possible.  Once you've setup a profile in our application system, you won't need to do that again.  Once you've clicked into our "Search Jobs", and selected the position you'd like to apply for, click on "Create Profile", and use the login section using the e-mail you originally setup your profile with.  If you need your password reset, just click on the Forgot your Password? link and an e-mail will be sent to you with a temporary password.  That's it!

I forgot my password for the application site - what do I do?

Once you've found the position that you want to apply for, simply click on "Create Profile", and then using the e-mail address you setup your profile with, you will then click on "Forgot your Password?".  You will then receive an e-mail containing a temporary password, which will then allow you to update your profile with a new password.

How long does the hiring process take?

Our goal is to hire the most qualified, and the best suited associate for the position.  As you move through our hiring process, you may be asked to participate in various assessments based on the needs and criteria for success in that role.  Likewise, we have a well thought out interview process that allows our hiring managers to evaluate each candidate equitably.  Our Human Resources partners work closely with the hiring managers to make sure that the process moves as efficiently as possible.
