Power forward for the women’s basketball team at UNL.

What sparked your interest in athletics?

It’s a way for me to embrace my competitive spirit.

Who are the women in athletics that have influenced you the most?

My current and past teammates.

What advice would you give to young women entering athletics?

Don’t take anything for granted, be patient, and just have fun!!

How have you seen the role of women in athletics evolve?

There has been an increase in support for female athletes which has given women in sports more opportunities, more media coverage, and overall more respect.

What is one of your favorite moments or career highlights?

The Big Ten Tournament or beating Iowa my freshman year.

Is there a uniform, award or object in sports that holds special meaning for you?

My eighth grade club team uniform. This uniform means a lot to me because without this team and program I wouldn’t be where I am today. This program gave me new opportunities and created a path that would lead me to be successful in the future.
