Customer Relationship Summary
The Customer Relationship Summary (Form CRS) is designed to help retail customers select or determine whether to remain with a firm or financial professional by providing transparent, summarized information in one place about a particular broker-dealer or investment adviser.
Form CRS documents
You can request a copy of the Form CRS documents at any time from AIC, AAS, or your financial professional.
The SEC requires Ameritas Investment Company, LLC (AIC), Ameritas Advisory Services, LLC (AAS) and its financial professionals to provide a Form CRS to retail customers in a variety of scenarios. The Form CRS relationship summaries for AIC and AAS provide succinct information about the relationships and services AIC and/or AAS offers to retail customers, fees and costs that retail customers will pay, specified conflicts of interest and standards of conduct and disciplinary history, among other things.
Ameritas Investment Partners, Inc. (AIP), an affiliate of AIC, also offers managed account programs and investment advisory services to retail customers in conjunction with AIC and AAS, including sub-advisory services for the Constellation Wrap Fee Program.
Regulation Best Interest
SEC Regulation Best Interest (“Reg BI”) requires Ameritas Investment Company, LLC (AIC) and its financial professionals to act in the best interest of retail customers when making investment recommendations. The underlying goal of Reg BI is to improve investor protection by enhancing the standard of care covering commission-based securities recommendations. Reg BI also includes a Disclosure Obligation that requires AIC and its financial professionals to disclose in writing all material facts about the scope and terms of its relationship with a retail customer. These disclosures are available below.
