Oris R. Stuart III
President and Chief Executive Officer, Inclusion Instinct
Oris Stuart earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Stuart is the CEO and Founder of Inclusion Instinct, where he provides inclusion strategy, learning and development services to boards and senior leadership teams.
Stuart was appointed as the NBA’s first chief people and inclusion officer in 2020, providing leadership and oversight for all human resources and diversity, equity and inclusion-related activities globally. He was named the league’s first chief diversity and inclusion officer in 2015. He was CEO and managing partner for Global Novations before joining the global organizational consulting firm Korn Ferry as a senior partner in 2012.
He serves on the boards of directors for Ameritas Mutual Holding Company and Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. Stuart is a member of the Ameritas Nominating and Corporate Governance and Ameritas Audit & Risk committees.
Stuart currently serves on the board of the National Black MBA Association and the Board of Visitors for the Fuqua School of Business.
