Ameritas names Stearley senior vice president of group operations

LINCOLN, Nebraska – Stephanie Stearley is the new senior vice president, group, at Ameritas. She was previously vice president, policy services, group. Her new position was effective Sept. 20, 2026.

Stearley began her career at Ameritas in 1992 and enjoyed various group administration roles until she departed the company for Guardian Life Insurance in 1999. She rejoined Ameritas as a team leader in 2001 and has been in various leadership roles since. She has an associates degree from the Art Institute of Colorado and a four-year degree from Bellevue University. Stearley is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute, has an American Health Insurance Plans certification. She has also completed the Wharton Executive Education-LIMRA/LOMA Strategic Leadership Experience, an executive development program for senior leaders in the insurance and financial services industry.
