Ann M. Frohman elected to Ameritas Board of Directors

Wayne Silby retires from Ameritas Board after 22 years of service.

Ann M. Frohman of Frohman Law Office, LLC, has been elected to the Ameritas Mutual Holding Company board of directors and will also serve as a director for Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. and Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. of New York, Ameritas President and CEO Bill Lester announced.“Ann’s industry knowledge and experience will be a tremendous asset to our organization,” Lester said. “Ameritas is focused on the future and finding ways to grow in these changing times. We’re excited to have Ann’s insight on the board.”

Frohman earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law. She also earned a managerial accounting certificate from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.

Frohman began her career in 1989 as the Honorable John T. Grant’s judicial clerk for the Nebraska Supreme Court. She has worked as an attorney in the financial services industry for over 30 years, including serving as Director of the Nebraska Department of Insurance. Frohman founded her own practice in 2012.

Frohman also serves on the board of directors for Farmers Mutual of Nebraska, as well as Resolution Life US and its subsidiary companies. She is a fellow in corporate governance for the National Association of Corporate Directors. Frohman is also a member of the Insurance Regulatory Examiners Society, Nebraska Insurance Federation and the Nebraska State Bar Association. She is an honorary member of the Society of Financial Examiners.

Lester also recognized Wayne Silby, who will retire from the Ameritas Mutual Holding Company and Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. boards of directors after 22 years.
