Years playing: Since I was 10
What is your current position and what do you do?
I am a senior infielder (specifically a 1st baseman)! I’m a defender as well as the person who catches other infielders throws for outs!
What sparked your interest in athletics?
Growing up I was always super competitive and loved hanging out with my friends, so joining a few teams was perfect for me! It allowed me to grow as a person and has taught me so many life lessons.
What advice would you give to young women entering athletics?
It’s so important to invest in yourself and be your own hype woman! Athletics has been so rewarding for me, but sometimes the grind can get difficult. When things get hard, you have to push through and keep going because discipline and resiliency are key to being successful and building up young women!
What is one of your favorite moments or career highlights?
The 2024-25 season was my favorite year so far! As a team we broke so many program records and achieved so much! Winning in our postseason tournaments were also some of my favorite moments!
Is there a uniform, award or object in sports that holds special meaning for you?
Growing up in Nebraska and watching the girls before me in the program, I always idolized the Red Pin uniform. Wearing it now means so much to me, as it reminds me of my home roots, making sure I always represent the N with pride and respect.
