Bryan E. Slone

Bryan Slone earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration, cum laude, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Nebraska College of Law.

Slone began his career as a tax consultant before joining the office of former Congressman Hal Daub as Ways and Means Tax Counsel from 1985 to 1986. He was assistant to the commissioner for the Internal Revenue Service from 1987 to 1988; tax partner at Wilmer Cutler & Pickering; partner at Deloitte Tax LLP; and a candidate for Governor of Nebraska. In 2014, he became an executive in residence at the UNL College of Business Administration and attorney of counsel with Koley Jessen LLC. He joined the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry in 2018.

He serves on the board of directors for the Ameritas Mutual Holding Company and Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. Slone is chair of the Ameritas Audit and Risk Committee. He is a member of the Ameritas Executive and Ameritas Nominating and Corporate Governance committees. He also is a member of the Ameritas Acquisitions subcommittee.

Slone is a member of the Nebraska Bar Association and District of Columbia Bar Association.
