Laura Fender is an Iowa native with a Bachelor of Science in business administration accountancy from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
Fender has worked in the insurance and finance industry for over 30 years. She began her career with Ameritas in 2020 as senior vice president, controller.
She serves on the board for Completely Kids, Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska and Financial Executives International Omaha.
Fender is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nebraska Society of CPAs.
