Ameritas has been named one of the city’s top employers in Lincoln’s Best Places to Work competition, an annual recognition program presented by Woods Aitken LLP, the Lincoln Journal Star, and the Lincoln Human Resource Management Association. The honor reflects Ameritas’ ongoing commitment to fostering a strong associate‑centered culture. As an organization with deep Nebraska roots, Ameritas continues to invest in creating an environment where associates feel supported and empowered to do their best work.

Finalists in the Best Places to Work in Lincoln competition were celebrated on Thursday, June 4, at Haymarket Park prior to the Lincoln Saltdogs baseball game, where Ameritas representatives were present to receive special recognition. For Ameritas, the recognition underscores its ongoing commitment to building a workplace where associates can grow, contribute, and feel proud to be part of a shared mission.
A commitment to community
In addition to being recognized among the top extra-large companies, Ameritas received both the Community Impact Award and the Spirit Award. The Community Impact Award recognizes organizations that demonstrate community stewardship through employee engagement and financial support of local nonprofits. The Spirit Award is presented to one honoree in recognition of the enthusiasm and energy it brought to the awards celebration.
